Arsenal vs Bayern Munich: Gunners win via penalties after late Iwobi equalizer

Alex Iwobi came off the bench to score the equalizer with virtually the last kick of the game, as Arsenal held Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday, in their first match at the International Champions.

The Bundesliga champions dominated the game from start to finish and took an early lead through Robert Lewandowski’s penalty.

Alexandre Lacazette almost levelled in the first half, as Bayern found it difficult to get past Petr Cech in goal for the Gunners again.

After Iwobi’s last-ditch goal, the match was decided on penalties.

Emi Martinez proved to be the hero for Arsene Wenger’s men, saving from David Alaba, Juan Bernat and Renato Sanches as they triumphed 3-2.
