Abramovich demands ‘Lukaku tax’ from Manchester United before sanctioning Matic transfer

Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, is ready to sell Nemanja Matic to Manchester United, only if they offer £50million for the Serbian midfielder.
United are believed to be closed to sealing the transfer, after their initial £35million bid was turned down.
The Russian billionaire has cleared the way for the 28-year-old to leave for Old Trafford, but has now added what has been dubbed a ‘Lukaku tax’ to any transfer fee.
Matic has already been informed that he will be allowed to go, as a gesture of goodwill in view of his service to the club.
Abramovich stepped in to afford Petr Cech a similar courtesy and let him join Arsenal in 2015 when Jose Mourinho, then manager of Chelsea, was firmly against the transfer.
