Manchester United to offer Ibrahimovic short-term deal

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to remain at Manchester United, despite becoming a free agent on July 1.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Ibrahimovic, will stay at the club’s Carrington training HQ while he continues his rehabilitation following cruciate knee ligament damage.
United chose not to extend his one-year deal, after he was ruled out until 2018. But if his recovery is successful, it has being suggested that he could be offered a short-term deal to see out the remainder of the season.
Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals last season, as Jose Mourinho’s men won the EFL Cup and the Europa League.
Following his injury against Anderlecht in April, Ibrahimovic said: “It’s no news I got injured so I will be out of football for a while.
“I will go through this like everything else and come back even stronger. So far I played with one leg so it shouldn’t be any problem
“One thing is for sure, I decide when its time to stop and nothing else. Giving up is not an option. See you soon.”
