Drake and Kanye West Didn't Collaborate On Yeezy Season 5

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian attend the gala for Harper's Bazaar celebrates "ICONS By Carine Roitfeld" presented by Infor, Laura Mercier, and Stella Artois at The Plaza Hotel on September 9, 2016 in New York City.

Drake had nothing to do with Kanye West's fashion show.

In the latest episode of fake news to hit social media, it turns out that Drakedidn't collaborate on Kanye West's Yeezy Season 5 after all. GQ Magazine's style writer Jake Woolf was the first journalist to break the news early Wednesday on Twitter. He apologized when he realized his mistake at the show.
Fans were eager to see what a fashion collaboration between the two rappers would look like beyond a shabby long sleeve T-shirt. Ye's show --part of New York fashion Week -- was a low-key affair compared to previous seasons. Few members of the media were admitted at Pier 59 Studios. The Chicago artist's health prevented him from making it more extravagant.
And those who anticipated a musical collaboration to premiere at the show were also left waiting. Pitchfork reports that the same The-Dream song played over and over again.
